The RN Unit Supervisor (RUS) assists the Department manager in coordinating the nursing aspect of patient care for specific nursing departments. Coordinates day-to-day clinical operations of the units in collaboration with unit leadership and interdisciplinary team to support safe, efficient, high-quality patient care. Supports staffing coordination, patient flow, regulatory readiness, staff education, and performance improvement activities. Serves as a clinical resource for staff, helps monitor compliance with policies, standards, and departmental processes, and supports communication across departments. Provides direct and indirect patient care as needed within the Registered Nurse scope of practice and performs other duties as assigned.
