Madera Community Hospital is seeking a talented RN Stroke Coordinator to manage clinical care, quality data, and regulatory compliance for the hospital stroke programs. This role involves acting as a liaison, leading multi-disciplinary teams, developing protocols, tracking outcomes, and driving continuous quality improvement for faster diagnosis, treatment, and better patient recovery. The Stroke Coordinator will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and leadership to enhance workflows, guide treatment protocols, and ensure timely care for acute events. Additionally, the position includes performing duties as a staff registered nurse, responsible for safe and appropriate patient care, providing instruction, direction, and supervision to subordinate unit staff, and serving as a resource for all department staff. The role requires knowledge of the nursing process, patient assessment, nursing standards, the California Nursing Practice Act, hospital policies and procedures, intermediate pharmaceutical and math skills, and personnel management.
