About The Position
Our Same Day Surgery unit is growing and we are looking for a strong nurse to join our 12-room department with consistent staffing of 7-10 team members daily. We provide a stable environment, leadership support, and opportunities for cross-training and professional development - all while delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an School of Professional Nursing.
- Must provide documented evidence to perform waived testing.
- Must have 2 years of endoscopy experience or at least 5 years of RN nursing experience in various clinical settings including Surgical Services, Critical Care or Medical-Surgical Nursing.
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS Certification required or obtained within 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices.
- Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
