About The Position

Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the assigned department or unit. The RN works with clinical managers and other health care professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, maintaining high standards of safety and compassion. In the PACU role, the nurse collaborates with physicians, specialists, and support staff to develop comprehensive care plans and support patient outcomes. The position requires the ability to meet a 45-minute call requirement.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nursing program as required for licensure.
At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program or an equivalent program.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to meet the 45-minute call requirement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to use electronic health systems.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); candidates working toward a BSN are encouraged to apply.
Previous PACU, emergency, or critical care nursing experience.

Responsibilities
