RN Staff Nurse - Flex
About The Position
River Garden is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to post-acute care and rehabilitation residents in a long-term care setting. The role is intended for an RN with acute care experience who wants to transition to a nurturing care environment. The primary purpose is to provide unit-based resident care by directing nursing subordinates and delivering hands-on care. The RN has direct responsibility for the nursing staff assigned to the unit and for the nursing care of residents living there. This is a full-time position with the ability to work various eight-hour shifts; all shifts are available. A background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse.
- Two years of recent clinical experience in a health care setting.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a geriatric setting is preferred but not required.
- Acute care experience is described as a fit for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based care to residents.
- Direct nursing subordinates and the nursing staff assigned to the unit.
- Provide direct hands-on resident care.
- Oversee nursing care for residents living on the assigned unit.
