Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in North Portland plays a vital role as a local and regional leader in serious clinical illness or injury. With around-the-clock expertise for critical health issues, including experts in trauma, heart care, burns, significant wounds, stroke, brain surgery and more, Legacy Emanuel is central to the health of our community and critical to the care of the Northwest. Legacy Emanuel Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center, Regional Burn Center and serves the needs of both adult hospital population as well as Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. This position is for the ISCU department in the new West Tower at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. The ISCU prepares the patients for surgery and provides both phase 1 (PACU) level of care and phase 2 care post procedure. Emanuel Medical Center is a level 1 trauma center that supports a dynamic and complex Cath lab. There is a call requirement of approximately 3 weeknight call shifts per 6-weeks, and 1 weekend call (Fri @1930-Mon @ 0730 per 6-weeks. Ideal candidates will have PACU experience, but minimum required is ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms quickly and accurately.
