About The Position

The RN Staff Flex maintains established standards of care, policies, objectives, and goals while administering professional nursing care to patients. The RN identifies and prioritizes patient needs through assessment, plans and delegates care based on those needs, and evaluates patient responses and progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for the outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current Alabama or multistate nursing license.
Obtain BLS for Healthcare Providers during the orientation period.
Obtain ACLS within the first six months of employment and maintain current certification.
Experience required; no specific duration is stated.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment that requires frequent prioritization and task changes.
Knowledge of equipment and materials required for procedures described in the Nursing Service Procedure Manual.
Complete department-specific competencies within the provisional period.
