About The Position

The Specialty Registered Nurse at Baptist Health is accountable for using the nursing process and training provided by Baptist Health to deliver safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care. The nurse is expected to demonstrate clinical competence and critical thinking. The RN is responsible for knowing and understanding department policies and processes, as well as organizational requirements, and applying them in a unified workflow with the healthcare team to support an exceptional patient experience and the best possible outcomes.

This position is in the Emergency Room and works the night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The job is authorized for 72 hours bi-weekly.

Requirements

• Be a new RN graduate from an accredited nursing program, or a Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in good standing to practice in Arkansas.
• Healthcare CPR is required.
• Apply basic knowledge and skills to meet the standard of care.
• Be able to practice as a full partner of an interdisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• Some areas may require ACLS, PALS, and/or NALS; training is provided.
• Specialty units require specific specialty education, which will be provided.
