About The Position

This Per Diem RN Special Procedures position is located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA. Reporting to the Manager of Special Procedures/Cath Lab, the Specialty Nurse is responsible for the coordination of care for a specific specialty. The Specialty Nurse is an RN with recognized leadership abilities and a strong clinical background, who will actively assist the Director in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs for improving the quality of care in the Operating Room. This position is responsible for problem-solving, coordinating, and maintaining unit resources on an ongoing basis and other duties as assigned. Corona Regional Medical Center, established in 1965 as Corona Community Hospital, is a 238-bed community hospital network. It is certified by The Joint Commission and employs over 1,250 healthcare workers with a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians.

Requirements

• Current California RN License required.
• Current BLS (CPR) and ACLS certificates required.
• Minimum two years experience as OR staff nurse required.

Nice To Haves

• C.N.O.R. preferred.
