About The Position

Qualicare Burlington is seeking dedicated nurses (RPNs & RNs) to become part of our professional team in the Hamilton area. This role is ideal for those seeking a career that provides autonomy and a healthy work-life balance. This is a specialty program focused on Peritoneal Dialysis, Wound Care, IV Management, Diabetic Care, and Post-Operative Care within the community setting.

Requirements

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and in good standing.
• Current BCLS certification (Level C).
• Clear & updated Vulnerable Sector Check (within last six months).
• Valid Driver’s License & reliable car.
• Up to date TB test within last 2 years.
• Must have your own stethoscope.
• Must have your own blood pressure cuff and Sphygmomanometer.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced in Home and Community Care is an asset.
• Charting on Procura is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide Peritoneal Dialysis care.
• Provide Wound Care.
• Provide IV Management.
• Provide Diabetic Care.
• Provide Post-Operative Care.
• Conduct clinical assessments.
• Perform patient/family teaching.
• Chart on Procura.
