The Women’s Resource Pool is a great way to share your vast L&D knowledge and experience with all six of our hospital sites as this team floats to Emanuel, Good Samaritan, Mt. Hood, Meridian Park, Salmon Creek, and Silverton Medical Centers. Working within the Women’s Resource Pool provides opportunities to meet more people, have a change each shift, and experience a variety of FBC settings, including both high-risk and LDRPs. Requirements
- As required by licensure.
- Three years’ registered nursing experience required in the applicable specialty.
- For the Women’s Resource Pool: Three years recent labor and delivery experience, including one-year high risk labor & delivery/antepartum experience, strongly preferred; 3 years perinatal experience (with 6 months Neonatal Resuscitation specialist experience) strongly preferred.
- Both Oregon and Washington state RN licensure required.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or degree in progress strongly preferred.
- BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
- AHA. APP Advanced NRP required.
- Legacy Obstetric and Neonatal Emergencies training within 6 months of hire.
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Heart Monitoring required.
Responsibilities
- The primary function of this job is to be available and flexible to float to various sites throughout Legacy Health System and provide patient care.
- Participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of a clinical manager or designee as defined by the relevant Standards and Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse.
- The RN Resource Team assesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient care following established patient care standards for Legacy Health including those for patient assessment and transfer.
- This job is paid at a flat rate plus appropriate differentials while working.
