About The Position

Southcoast Health is seeking an RN-Resource Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This 40-hour position works a day/evening shift from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Under the direction of the Director, Manager, Patient Care, or designee, the nurse coordinates clinical and non-clinical care activities, including staff assignments and staffing levels. The role also provides guidance and support to new staff and coordinates their orientation. Southcoast Health is a not-for-profit health system serving Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The hourly pay range is $47.61–$87.42, with the rate determined by experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent.
At least three years of clinical experience in an appropriate setting, such as Medical Surgical or Critical/Coronary Care.
Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying the choice to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
