About The Position

The RN Residential Director at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing and managing the nursing and residential services within the facility. The role ensures the delivery of high-quality care to residents, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the implementation of best practices in nursing and residential care. This position plays a crucial role in fostering a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for both residents and staff.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a behavioral health or residential care setting.
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a healthcare environment.
Proven track record of managing residential care programs and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee a team of healthcare professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, residents, and families.
Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
Proficiency in healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address complex care situations.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to residential care facilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and program outcomes.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the residential nursing services, ensuring that all activities align with the center's policies and standards.
Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, ensuring that all care provided is person-centered and evidence-based.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to promote professional development and high standards of care.
Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans, facilitating communication between medical professionals, residents, and their families.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes and resident satisfaction.
Manage the budget and resources for the nursing department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources while maintaining quality care.
Serve as a liaison between the facility and external healthcare providers, community organizations, and regulatory agencies.
Lead initiatives to improve the quality of care and resident experience, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by residents, families, or staff, maintaining a focus on resident welfare and satisfaction.
