About The Position

We are accepting applications for our October 19, 2026 RN Residency Program, which will be open through midnight July 26, 2026. This program is designed for both new graduate nurses and nurses with limited or no acute care experience, offering a structured and supportive environment. A AHA BLS certification is required. Applicants must have an active CA RN license a week prior to the program start date of October 19, 2026; interim permits are not accepted. The application process involves one submission, where candidates should include their RN License status, ATT, or BRN paperwork with anticipated timeframes on their resume. When filling out the application, please list your nursing school first for education, regardless of chronological order, followed by any other degrees or in-progress education. The initial phase of the application assesses minimum qualifications and potential retention at Cottage Health, with departmental matches occurring in the second phase. There is no need to specify preferred units at this stage.
