About The Position

This RN Residency Program at Toledo Hospital's Pediatric ICU is specifically for December 2026 graduates. The role involves providing patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for diversity, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care based on patient care plans, policies, and standards of care, utilizing the Nursing Process. Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license in the state where work is performed
  • CPR training
  • December 2026 Graduates Only

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care based on defined patient care plan, patient care policies and standards of care, and knowledge of the Nursing Process.
  • Maintains a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families in accordance with care deliver standards.
  • Provides safe patient care per facility/department RN job description within the achieved competencies of the residency.
  • Seeks clarification prior to performing skills if uncertain.
  • Participates in learning activities provided.
  • Seek to understand the theory supporting learning activities.
