About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for newly graduated nurses looking to transition into a rewarding nursing career. You are eligible to start as a Nurse Extern II during your final semester and transition right into an RN position once you become license pending! Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Illinois: License pending designation in Illinois is required as permitted in the CTS letter.
  • Obtaining licensure within 90 days from the official date of passing the licensure exam is required.
  • Wisconsin: Temporary Permit is required.
  • Obtaining licensure within three months of temporary permit issue date is required.
  • A temporary permit may be renewed once for an additional three-month period.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Previous healthcare or service industry experience is preferred.
