RN Rehab Registered Nurse Traveler
About The Position
This is a travel RN position for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Rapid City, SD. The role involves developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising patient care plans, while also supervising Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides, and Techs. The position offers competitive hourly rates, a tax-free stipend (if applicable), no pay cuts mid-contract, a referral bonus, license reimbursement, and the opportunity to choose assignments at partner facilities across the country. Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required.
- Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
- 1 year acute care experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Travels.
- Provides direct patient care.
- Delegates and supervises all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrates clinical competence.
- Manages patient care.
- Improves quality of care.
- Establishes professional relationships and utilizes professional skills.
- Fulfills responsibilities of the role of the hospital.
- Develops clinical expertise per specialty.
- Supervises Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides and Techs.
