Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Texas RN License
3–5 years of acute care nursing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of CMS, DSHS, and accreditation standards

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), or similar certification
Prior experience in regulatory compliance, quality, accreditation, risk management, or survey readiness
Experience participating in or leading accreditation surveys
Experience with policy management systems and regulatory tracking tools

Responsibilities

Supporting and monitoring the hospital’s compliance with federal, state, and accrediting body requirements.
Providing regulatory expertise.
Conducting audits and tracers.
Supporting survey readiness.
Partnering with clinical and operational leaders to ensure adherence to applicable laws, standards, and best practices, including CMS Conditions of Participation, Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) regulations, and accreditation standards.
