About The Position

The Registry RN implements, directs, communicates, and documents the nursing process while ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates. The RN practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, and Powers Health policies and procedures. Registry nurses may work at one or up to four of the hospital system’s hospitals. The listed shift is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Requirements

ASN or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN license through the Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
At least 2 years of acute care hospital experience.
Current BLS certification; additional certifications are required for specialty areas.

Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates.
Practice in accordance with established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, and Powers Health policies and procedures.
