About The Position
Sinai Health System is a collection of hospitals, medical groups, and community health organizations serving Chicago’s West and Southwest Side. It provides inpatient and outpatient care, along with community-based health, research, and social service programs, with a focus on improving health across its diverse service area. The RN Registry – Telemetry Registered Nurse provides and coordinates patient care with empathy and compassion. The nurse develops and implements plans of care, participates in patient and family education, collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, responds to emergency codes, interprets patient data, and follows hospital and department policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire.

- Develop and implement a plan of care through delivery and delegation of care.
- Participate in patient and family education.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and codes.
- Adhere to hospital and department policies and procedures.
- Interpret patient data accurately and use it independently or in consultation with other healthcare professionals to plan and revise care.
