About The Position

Interim Healthcare is seeking registered nurses to join its team at multiple surgery centers in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. Nurses provide care throughout the surgical experience, from pre-operative preparation through post-operative recovery and discharge, while collaborating with the clinical team and supporting patients and families. The role offers opportunities to contribute to patient care and quality improvement at medical facilities in the Twin Cities metro area.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, eight hours each, with start and end times varying between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Pay is $63.60 to $74.20 per hour, depending on experience. The posting describes immediate part-time and per-diem needs.

Requirements

• ADN degree.
• Current RN license with the State of Minnesota.
• Current ACLS.
• Experience working in pre-op and post-op/PACU.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-operative preparation, including patient assessments, medication administration, and patient and family education.
• Monitor patients throughout the surgical process, including vital signs, sedation, and pain management.
• Provide post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, recovery monitoring, and discharge preparation.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support throughout the surgical experience.
• Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure safe and coordinated patient care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to support excellent patient care.
