RN (Registered Nurse) Surgery Center-Part Time/ Per Diem- Up to $74.20/ Hour
About The Position
Interim Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses to join its team at multiple surgery centers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The role provides care throughout the surgical experience, from pre-operative preparation through post-operative recovery and discharge. Nurses work with patients, families, and clinical team members to provide safe, coordinated care and support excellent patient outcomes. The schedule is Monday through Friday in 8-hour shifts, with start and end times varying between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Pay is $63.60 to $74.20 per hour, depending on experience. The position is described as part-time/per diem, with immediate needs at multiple centers.
Requirements
- ADN degree.
- Current RN license with the State of Minnesota.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Experience working in pre-op and post-op/PACU.
Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-operative preparation, including patient assessments, medication administration, and patient and family education.
- Monitor patients throughout the surgical process, including vital signs, sedation, and pain management.
- Provide post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, recovery monitoring, and discharge preparation.
- Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support throughout the surgical experience.
- Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure safe and coordinated patient care.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to support excellent patient care.
