RN/Registered Nurse- NICU, Part time, Nights
About The Position
As a nurse, you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety, physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness, while providing safe patient care. This is a part-time, nights position in the Women's Services Department, which highlights a Level II NICU/Level II Maternal Designation. The department is a small team focused on BIG Teamwork, with a robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. Self-Scheduling helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma Required Or Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required
- NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of NICU experience is highly preferred
