RN/Registered Nurse- NICU, Part time, Nights
About The Position
As a nurse, you will focus on responding to others priorities regarding safety, physical and psychological needs while paying close attention to maintenance of comfort and human emotion during health and illness, while providing safe patient care. Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice. The department highlights include a Level II NICU/Level II Maternal Designation, 8 LDRs, 2 triage, 5 Antepartum Rooms, 2 Operating Rooms. It is a small team focused on BIG teamwork with a robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. Requirements
- Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or Associate's Degree Nursing Required Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
- NRP - Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required
- NRPA-Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program 90 Days Required
- STABLE Program 90 Days Required
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
- A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of NICU experience is highly preferred
- Previous Charge Nurse experience is preferred
