About The Position
The Data Quality Specialist is responsible for abstracting, analyzing and submitting data to National Data Registries. Informs and educates leadership and physicians regarding outcomes reporting nuances and benchmarking. Abstracts, validates, analyzes and submits data. Provides timely, accurate data with the goal of ensuring excellent patient care. Participates in PI processes to identify and strategize opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Accredited Program: Nursing (Required)
- Registered Nurse Compact License (RN LICENSE COMPACT) - Compact RN Multistate, Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
- Three (3) years of experience in areas of clinical focus.
- Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse or trained medical Physician.
- Critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills
- Decisive judgment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
