About The Position

This is a 13-week assignment for an RN Quality Assistant position at $50 per hour. The position will be Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. PAM Health offers opportunities for growth and advancement, flexible scheduling, an Employee Bonus Referral Program, and supportive leadership.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the management of efficient, cost-effective operations of the performance improvement functions for the assigned PAM Health hospital(s).
• Coordinating with the Director of Quality Management (DQM), hospital, and medical staff leadership to foster a culture of safety by coordinating design, measurement, assessment, and planning activities to improve patient care and organization functions.
• Serving as a liaison with accrediting and regulatory bodies such as TJC, CMS, and Department of Health.
• Assisting in providing direction and assistance to the medical staff regarding medical staff quality measures.
