About The Position
Seeking a Travel RN for the Adult Psych unit responsible for assessing patients' mental health status, developing individualized care plans, and administering psychiatric medications.
Requirements
- Active BLUE CARD CPI required to submit.
- BLS and CPI certifications required.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with patients through therapeutic communication and empathy.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' mental health status, including recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders and behavioral problems.
- Develop individualized care plans based on patients' mental health needs.
- Administer psychiatric medications and monitor for side effects.
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques for patients in crisis.
