About The Position

This job creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements in the Program. This job identifies resources needed and manages day-to-day operational aspects of the Programs and updates the team on a regular basis. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team and coordinates delivery of plan of care. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • Current RN License in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • 5 years nursing experience.
  • 1 year supervisory experience
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Certification in clinical specialty area

Responsibilities

  • Manages implementation timelines, ongoing clinical and technical support, and development of site-specific education and improvement strategies.
  • Conducts system and process reviews on targeted operational and service functions to validate or recommend implementation opportunities to improve productivity, customer service and/or quality of operations.
  • Serves as a liaison to regulatory agencies and community partners and participates in meetings, conferences, in-services, as required.
  • Serves as a team lead.
  • Chairs committees as assigned.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
  • Other related duties as required.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensures compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
