Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West, the Process/Recovery department is a fast-paced environment that provides exceptional care to patients throughout their surgical journey, from preoperative preparation to post-anesthesia recovery. Our team supports a wide range of surgical and endoscopy procedures, offering exposure to diverse specialties and a collaborative, high-energy environment. We offer different shift options to accommodate flexible scheduling needs. Requirements

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse License or Current Registered Nurse License from a Compact State. If a Compact License is held, it must be in the Nurse's State of Residence.
• AHA ACLS Within 180 Days.
• AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Within 30 Days.
• AHA PALS Provider Within 180 Days.
• Perioperative RN Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
• Continuing Education: AHA ACLS Number Of Days: 180
• AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Number Of Days: 30
• AHA PALS Provider Number Of Days: 180
• Perioperative Rn Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the Medical Plan of Care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
