About The Position

This position is in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic that works with patients to manage and treat chronic pain. Procedures include Kyphoplasty, Back, hip and knee injections, therapies, along with education and management of pain. Pain management specialists help patients feel better by understanding how chronic pain works and offering various treatment options.

Requirements

Excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritize/triage the needs of the patients and the practice
Critical thinking and prompt assessment skills in emergent patient care situations
Working knowledge of electronic medical records
Graduate from an accredited nursing program required
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications

Utilizing the professional nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients across age continuum in an ambulatory setting
Caring for patients in all phases of specific states including assessment, disease maintenance, treatment, and follow-up as patients move in both inpatient and outpatient setting
Utilizing the professional nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients across age continuum in an ambulatory setting
Assessment and triage of patients with various conditions and devices both in person and in using the appropriate mode of electronic communication
Collaborating with providers and delivering appropriate assistance during surgical and non-surgical procedures
