About The Position
Logan Health is looking for a part-time (24 hours/week) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pain Procedures Team! We are located within Wellness and Pain Management at 245 Windward Way in beautiful, Kalispell, MT. Our area offers unmatched Rocky Mountain views, Glacier National Park, and a variety of outdoor recreation at your doorstep. What you'll be doing: Make reminder phone calls to patients and review medications with them Prepare charts for procedures Provide pre-operative care for patients receiving procedures Administer sedation medication Provide post-operative care, discharge instructions and and patient education Opportunity to grow and become an RN Circulator in the procedure room if you have the desire to learn!
Requirements
- Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
- RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and prioritization skills; detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Interventional Pain Procedure, Pre-op or PACU experience a plus, but not required.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred.
