RN (PRN)- Cornerstone
About The Position
Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love, does so with eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. Affiliated with MRC and located in Texarkana, Cornerstone Retirement Community, is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and home health. We are currently seeking PRN RN’s to direct and coordinate activities of CNAs, perform basic daily nursing functions, issue proper medications, and meet the nursing needs of our residents in an efficient, economical, and caring manner while maintaining high standards and quality care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited vocational school of nursing
- Current Texas or Texas compact LVN/LPN license required
- Knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging, and of social and health problems confronting older persons
Nice To Haves
- Training or experience in geriatric, psychiatric or medical/surgical nursing
Responsibilities
