About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pre-Operative (PreOp) and Phase II Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The unit consists of 14 rooms, allowing for continuity of care by potentially having the same nurse for a patient before and after their procedure. The position requires strong clinical knowledge and skills related to the perioperative experience. The ideal candidate must be organized, able to multitask with frequent interruptions, flexible with working hours, and possess a positive attitude with good communication skills. This role involves working in both pre-op and post-op areas and requires a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current RN Licensure in the State of Kentucky
• BCLS required
• ACLS and PALS required
• Proficient in starting IV’s
• Minimum of one year RN experience in PACU or ICU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery areas.
