About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a registered nurse to provide one-on-one home care to a 1-year-old pediatric client in Stenton, Philadelphia. The client has congenital ventriculomegaly, a tracheostomy, and a G-tube, and uses ventilator support overnight while sprinting to an HME during the day. The nurse will provide compassionate, skilled care in the client’s home, including comfort and age-appropriate interaction such as story time. Pediatric or ventilator experience is not required; paid training and shadowing are provided.

The listed opening is for night shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position pays $35–$38 per hour. BAYADA describes its home-care work as serving clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels, with clinical support available by phone.

Requirements

• Current, valid nursing license.
• Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
• CPR certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to a pediatric client in the client’s home.
• Follow, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor the client’s condition.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide compassionate care and age-appropriate comfort and interaction.
