About The Position

This is a 60% FTE position, working Monday through Friday, 3 days a week, with hours that may vary based on operational needs. The role is located at American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. The Registered Nurse (RN) will care for pediatric patients with autoimmune conditions and immunodeficiencies, triage phone calls for the Rheumatology/Immunology Clinic, and provide evidence-based, high-quality nursing care via telephone and MyChart. Responsibilities also include assisting with care coordination and clinic procedures, working as part of a multidisciplinary team for positive patient outcomes, and providing education and guidance to patients and families. The nurse will utilize evidence and science to guide practice and provide quality care in a compassionate, family- and patient-centered environment.

Requirements

Graduate of school of nursing
6 months of RN experience
Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state with the licensure compact
CPR/BLS Certification

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Relevant RN experience
Applicable clinical certification

Responsibilities

Care for pediatric patients with autoimmune conditions and immunodeficiencies.
