Pediatric Clinic RN Lead
About The Position
As our Registered Nurse Lead at Beacon Highland Pediatrics, you’ll be responsible for the flow of patients through the medical service areas, and exercises frequent independent judgment. You’ll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
- Must have a current/valid RN license from the state licensing board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) required
- 2 years related experience in a specialty clinic (e.g. Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, etc.) required
- 2 years supervisory-level experience required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- May be required to have additional specialty certifications
Responsibilities
- Assist Practice Manager or Healthcare Provider with clinical staffing issue within department and/or related to other departments.
- Delegate tasks to clinical staff and create the clinical staff schedules as requested.
- Facilitate training and orientation to the clinical staff members.
- Accurately obtain health history and rectifies medications.
- Serve as Interpreter between the patient and provider as requested.
- Administer medications by oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intradermal routes, IV.
