About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our world-class interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive life-changing care for kids living with neurological conditions. Diagnoses with Peds Neurosurgery include, but are not limited to hydrocephalus, Spina Bifida, brain tumors, Chiari malformations, epilepsy, stroke, and injuries to the head, nervous system, vascular system, or spine. Our expert team offers the latest treatments for the most complex neurological conditions. You will work directly with a highly collaborative team of providers and nurses that foster learning, education, and critical thinking and input from the team is valued. You will partner with Pediatric Neurosurgery patients and their families to provide holistic and comprehensive care. Responsibilities include completing triage with a complex patient population, providing education both in-person and over the phone, and assisting with procedures that include suture removal, shunt taps and shunt reprogramming.

Requirements

• Graduate of school of nursing
• 6 months of RN experience
• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire
• CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Relevant RN experience
• Applicable clinical certification
