RN - Pain Management
About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pain Management Department at our Ontario, Galion, and Bucyrus locations. The RN will provide professional nursing care within the Pain Management department, coordinating care planning with other disciplines. They will deliver care that meets the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient needs, determining priorities of care based on patient status and influencing factors. The RN will communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, and diagnostic results, responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response. The role also includes circulating for outpatient procedures.
Requirements
- Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS certified within 3 months of hire
- PALS within 6 months of hire
- TNCC within one year of hire
Nice To Haves
- 1 – 2 years Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care within the Pain Management
- Coordinates care planning with other disciplines
- Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
- Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system
- Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
- Circulates for outpatient procedures
