Community Surgery Center of Glendale is dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality outpatient surgical care in a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Since opening in 2013, we have established a reputation as a trusted partner for physicians and healthcare providers by prioritizing our patients. Our mission is to deliver exceptional care and an outstanding surgical experience, making us the community's preferred choice for outpatient surgery. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will be instrumental in fulfilling this mission. Working closely with the PACU Charge Nurse in daily clinical operations, you will be involved in planning, directing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality, individualized patient care during the pre-operative phase of the patient's surgical journey. This role involves direct patient care, maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment, and performing pre/post-operative teaching for patients and their significant others. You will also manage patient complications and emergencies, both preoperatively and postoperatively, while maintaining a professional demeanor. Effective communication is key, as is creating a positive patient experience for patients and their families. Additionally, you will utilize appropriate services to communicate with staff and patients with speech and hearing disorders to ensure the highest standards of patient experience and safety.
