About The Position

The RN is responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Rhythm Management Implants, and IR procedures. The role recovers, monitors, and cares for patients following cardiac catheterization, cardiac intervention, peripheral angiography or intervention, and Cardiac Rhythm Management procedures. The position receives direction from providers, anesthesia providers, the Nurse Manager, the Cath Lab Manager/Director, and the Charge Nurse, and gives direction to LPNs and CNAs.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Nice To Haves

Pre-Post Cardiac Catheterization experience preferred.
Tele or PACU/ICU experience preferred.
Advanced critical thinking skills, self-motivation, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, time management, embracing change, and innovative thinking focused on process are preferred.
