About The Position

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the immediate post-operative and post-procedural recovery period. Follow AORN/ASPAN standards to maintain aseptic and sterile technique. Assess patient responses, manage pain, and provide appropriate interventions. Anticipate patient needs based on the procedure performed and underlying condition.

Requirements

Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
One year of experience preferred.
ACLS/ PALS required
Day shift with on call rotation required.
Must have flexibility to start early if needed.
Position requires training to day surgery for pre/post.
