About The Position
The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, plans and delegates care based on patient needs, and evaluates the patient’s response to care and progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for the outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift. The position is in the Wound Care Center and is listed as PRN, 1st Shift.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Alabama or multistate nursing licensure.
- Required CWON.
- BCLS certification is required and must be completed within the Provisionary Period.
- Must have successfully completed a Perioperative RN program or have prior experience as a circulating RN.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to identify their needs and priorities for care.
- Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
- Evaluate patients’ responses to care and their progress toward expected outcomes.
- Be accountable for patient-care outcomes during the assigned shift.
