About The Position
The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, plans and delegates care based on patient needs, and evaluates the patient’s response to care and progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift. This position is in the Wound Care Center.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Alabama or multistate nursing licensure.
- Required CWON.
- BCLS certification; must be completed within the provisionary period.
- Must have successfully completed a Perioperative RN program or have prior experience as a circulating RN.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to identify their needs and priorities for care.
- Plan and delegate care based on patient needs.
- Evaluate patient responses to care and progress toward expected outcomes.
- Remain accountable for patient-care outcomes during the assigned shift.
