About The Position
Logan Health is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pain Procedures Team! We are located within Wellness and Pain Management at 245 Windward Way in beautiful, Kalispell, MT. Requirements
- Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
- RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and prioritization skills; detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences and handle sensitive situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Interventional Pain Procedure, Pre-op or PACU experience a plus, but not required. We will train!
- BSN degree preferred.
- Current ACLS and PALS certification may be required in certain departments and successfully obtained within six (6) months of hire.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make reminder phone calls to patients and review medications with them
- Prepare charts for procedures
- Provide pre-operative care for patients receiving procedures
- Administer sedation medication
- Provide post-operative care, discharge instructions and patient education
