About The Position

Logan Health is seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse (RN) to join their fast-paced Primary Care & Walk-In Clinic team. In this role, the RN will work alongside Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants to provide high-quality patient care across all age groups, from infants to seniors. The clinic supports a high-volume of 50-100 patients daily and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The position offers a four-day work week with 10-hour shifts, typically between 7:30/8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday - Friday, with participation in weekend shift rotation (typically one weekend per month).

Requirements

  • Current Montana RN License or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing in Montana; required.
  • Current HCP CPR certification required.
  • RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.
  • Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skills; ability to prioritize and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software systems as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience preferred.
  • PALS within six (6) months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate walk-in patients upon check-in, identify concerning symptoms, and escalate care as appropriate.
  • Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, catheter care, injections, and Point-of-Care testing; assist in imaging setup.
  • Room patients, assist providers, and direct patients to the ER when necessary.
  • Work closely with 3–4 providers per day to ensure efficient, coordinated patient care.
  • Support a high-volume clinic (50–100 patients daily) with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with medical assistants and fellow nurses to maintain a smooth, patient-centered workflow.
