About The Position

Medical Assistant | Primary Care | PRN Logan Health Primary Care 160 Heritage Way Kalispell, MT 59901 Schedule: Full-Time | 4x10 hour shifts Bring your clinical expertise and compassion to a team focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered care. At Logan Health, our Primary Care team is dedicated to supporting patients through compassionate and coordinated care. We are seeking a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) and/or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support clinical care, patient communication, care coordination, and day-to-day clinic operations. This role plays an important part in creating a positive patient experience by assisting providers, preparing patients for exams and procedures, obtaining medical histories and vital signs, documenting accurately, coordinating care needs, and supporting patients with professionalism, empathy, and respect. Requirements

  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant credential
  • Patient-Centered Mindset – You thrive on making patients feel heard, cared for, and respected.
  • Technical Skills – Comfortable with vitals, specimen collection, medication administration, point-of-care testing, and EMR documentation.
  • Team Spirit – You value collaboration, flexibility, and clear communication with the entire care team.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification
  • Previous experience in a primary care or outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients, collect vitals, review medical histories, and prepare them for exams.
  • Support providers with routine exams, procedures, and patient care needs.
  • Perform point-of-care testing, administer medications as directed, and process lab specimens.
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation and help create an exceptional patient experience.
  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, and the broader care team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
