About The Position
To provide nursing care for patients in an Outpatient/Inpatient setting to include completing nursing assessments, urinalysis, vital signs, provides leadership in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides medical management and assessment of patients. Ensure environmental safety. Works with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu. This is a hybrid position (Outpatient and Inpatient setting).
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited curriculum
- Current FL RN License or Compact License required
- Employment with University Behavioral Center requires successful completion of a Level II background Screening. Responsibilities
- Conduct complete nursing assessment of all admissions including risk assessments, educational needs, and medication review. Completes all required nursing documents within established time frame.
- Actively participate in treatment team decisions, assess patient needs, design and implement programs, and document / evaluate patient responses.
- Ensure patient’s medication & treatment are administered as prescribed and that documentation reflects the care provided.
- Assist Manager in day to day operations
