About The Position
Under general direction of the Nurse Supervisor, with latitude for independent judgment, the Registered Nurse is responsible for efficient, safe and timely patient care for General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. Using professional development and clinical competency the RN will utilize the nursing process to evaluate the care provided to surgical patients.
Requirements
- Fulfilled the educational requirements to be a licensed Nurse in NYS
- Current New York State RN license
- CPR Certification required
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Critical thinker and problem solver with the ability to generate professional, clear written communications appropriate for the intended audience.
- Able to use various computer systems and software programs including a practice appointment scheduling system, Excel and Word.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- Previous work in an ambulatory setting.
- EPIC experience preferred.
