You’ll guide out-of-state patients and families through their entire surgical journey, ensuring they understand their care plan and feel confident every step of the way. Make a measurable difference. By streamlining preoperative optimization and timely scheduling, you’ll directly reduce delays and improve outcomes for orthopaedic patients. Work at the center of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes surgeons, advanced practice providers, anesthesiology, physical therapy, and care coordinators. Your communication skills and clinical judgment will ensure seamless handoffs and coordinated care. Use and grow your clinical expertise. You will perform focused chart reviews, triage pre- and postoperative nursing needs, and educate patients through both one-on-one coaching and structured orthopaedic education classes. Lead patient education and empowerment. You’ll develop and teach the ortho education class, create individualized teaching moments, and support patients through recovery and follow-up.
