About The Position

Nurses provide holistic, compassionate nursing care to clients with eating disorders and other comorbid disorders in an inpatient higher level of care setting. They work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, evidence-based care that supports recovery.

This is a full-time, in-person position in Dunwoody, Georgia, working 36 hours per week on the night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The schedule includes an every-other-weekend rotation on Saturday and Sunday. The starting hourly range is $30–$35 for LPNs and $39–$42 for RNs. Final compensation is based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Be licensed as an LPN or RN in Georgia or hold a compact license.
• Have at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive.
• Hold current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Have experience or a strong desire to work in a mental health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately.
• Manage medications, including providing education, assessing adherence, administering medications in inpatient and residential settings, and monitoring side effects in collaboration with a provider.
• Assist and support medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination.
• Coordinate medical care among patients, providers, staff, families, and outside care agencies as needed.
• Serve as a staff resource for client medical needs and information.
• Partner with the treatment team to create an appropriate treatment plan for each client.
